Alajuela, Costa Rica – 2012
A sanctuary and educational space were completed in the small town of Alajuela just outside San Jose, Costa Rica. The church was under construction for eight years, with many groups visiting the property and meeting various needs along the way.
Pastor Victor Vargus and his wife, Grace, minister to a difficult population, who are influenced by drug trade and poverty. The church has already seen lives changed and is adding young families and children regularly.
Finish the Work sent 54 volunteers from 15 different churches, over a 4-week period of time to complete the project. Pastor Vargas expressed his gratitude to the final team saying, “This church will stand as a testimony of the greatness of God to our entire community!”
