Kimmie Padgett and Tony Schoening met on a Finish the Work trip in 2014, finishing a medical clinic in Honduras that had been under construction for 12 years. Together, they painted walls, laid tile and mopped floors as they prepared the 10,000 sq. foot facility for dedication on the last week of the project. Sitting next to each other on the plane to and from Honduras, the two began sharing their life stories and discovered they shared love for life, missions and serving other people.
After the trip, their friendship continued to grow. One year later, Tony proposed to Kimmie while serving another Finish the Work project. On June 13, 2015, they couple said, “I do!”
Kimmie and Tony look forward to continuing their commitment to missions and can’t wait for the next adventure with Finish the Work!
