I never thought, in a million years, that I would find myself serving the Lord in Honduras – and starting at 17! I feel a pull in my heart every year to go back and experience the deep love that the people have. They may not have much, but they give you something that you can never run out of, and that’s love. The children and adults all smile; they offer as much as they can, and it is truly humbling.
I have so much in my life – and I know I take it for granted – but seeing these people in the light of the Lord and how happy they are is such a blessing. I will never forget Celeste and the big heart she has for her father’s ministry. It was blessing to have met her. I look forward to going for many years to come and to see the change and empowerment given to the community.
