On this mission trip, I finally realized what the phrase, “one body, many parts” in 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 means.
“Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of your is a part of it.” -1 Corinthians 12:12-27
For the first time in my life, God’s Word jumped off the page, smacked me upside the head and said, “See…this is what I am talking about.”
The churches at El Tontolo and El Eden seem so remote and isolated from the rest of the world, but now I understand that they are part of the same body of Christ. I think that’s why my heart hurt when we had to leave.
I can’t wait to go back!
